Description

Based on a true story, Serpico is a 1973 American crime film directed by Sidney Lumet featuring a tour-de-force performance by Al Pacino. Serpico is a New York policeman who discovers that honesty is not expected to be part of his job. He endures scorn and mistreatment from his fellow cops while attempting to perform his job with integrity.
