A Film By is a self-reflexive, existentialist-dramedy that follows a naïve young voice-over artist named Charlie who decides to escape into his own self-constructed filmic reality to avoid the pressures and disappointment of real-life. It is in this self-constructed reality where he will truly discover the nature of reality and all its complexities.
