Badtameez Dil is an upcoming Hindi romantic film directed by Akshay Roy and produced together by Karan Johar's Dharma Production and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. The film will feature Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor Khan as main leads. It is expected to release on 15 August 2014.Emraan Hashmi was first on board and was signed on as the main male lead. Actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone were considered for the female lead when Padukone was chosen until Kapoor was finalised after working out date issues. Kritika Kamra will be the second female lead.
