Plot outline

Heidi, June & Molly form the musical act The Shotgun Songbirds, a traveling, musical trio from Arkansas. The three women, along with their roadies, must battle their vices, adversity, each other & and some unexpected obstacles as they travel to Dallas to perform at the famous Wildfire Saloon.

Description

SHOTGUN SONGBIRDS is a student film written and directed by Albanie Knight of Denison, TX.

The Goal: In order to produce this film, we will be requiring the help of our friends and families to raise the funds needed for a quality shoot. Our goal is to raise $2500 for this production. Because the university Ms. Knight attends will be providing the equipment required to shoot the film, the funds raised will go to studio time for the musicians, purchasing costumes & props, location rentals & travel expenses for the cast and crew.

The Rewards: This film is the definition of a passion project. Originally conceived by Albanie Knight, the story has truly become a collaborative effort of all those involved. Together the filmmakers and musicians hope to further enhance their knowledge of their crafts, while producing a film that is entertaining for anyone, especially those whom have worked hard to make their dreams materialize.
