Plot outline
At a time where prejudice between the races is at an all time high, a black and white boxer from poverty stricken backgrounds set out to capture the World Super-Feather Weight Boxing Title during the Apartheid era in South Africa. Mzi Thulo (black fighter) beats Michael Taylor (white fighter) in their first bout held in the black township. Michael is distraught as his dreams come crashing down. Michael is forced to swallow his pride when he is asked to join boxing stables with his adversary and become training partners. Adamant not to allow this to happen, Michael refuses to help the man who took the World title shot away from him, however as time passes by, the two boxers gain mutual respect for one another which leads to a friendship in and out of the ring - which ends in tragedy. It's a human story about ambition, identity, respect, friendship and ultimately Forgiveness.
