A film project featuring girls fast pitch softball. An inspired by true events...think "Remeber the Titans" meets "Million Dollar Baby"

STATE is inspired by the lives of Jimmy Iturralde and Ed Aycock both very successful high school football coaches that were pursuaded to coach a high school girls fastpitch softball team. In the beginning not everything went as planned but eventually they found success only to discover that one of life’s biggest challenges had thrown them a curve ball. The coaches taught their girls how to win but the girls ending up teaching the coaches how to live on their journey to STATE!

STATE is not an actual events story but an inspired by true story of the lives of these two men and the girls they coached. Jimmy and Ed were good friends but also arch rival coaches in the same community in South Louisiana. Becasue their stories parallel each other so close, in the story of STATE, we place them with their unique personalities coaching on the same team together.
