Description

Helen is a Liberator, part of an international network of black folks from around the globe, who "liberate" African art from European museums and galleries and return them to Africa. Helen is in Berlin, raising funds for this non-profit underground organization, when Shola, another Liberator, is arrested in Denmark. She picks up one of the three medallions, symbols of Ethiopian history, in a Berlin train station. Shola's arrest and her possession of the first of the medallions puts Helen in the cross hairs of Interpol and causes some of her co-workers to get greedy. Helen moves from London to New York to Los Angeles to Ethiopia, collecting the last two medallions and avoiding danger.
