Electrick Children

Description

Electrick Children in a film written and directed by Rebecca Thomas, which premiered at the 2012 Berlin Film Festiva and had its American Premiere at SXSW.

The film is set in a fundamentalist Mormon community and follows a 15-year-old girl who gets pregnant, she believes, because of listening to (forbidden) rock music. She flees the colony for LAS VEGAS, in search of the father of her immaculate child -- the voice she heard on a cassette tape.

Starring Julia Garner, Rory Culkin, Liam Aiken and Billy Zane.
