Amitabh Bachchan as Sarjerao Gaikwad , plays the role of a ex-criminal turned politician.
Sanjay Dutt as Mahadev Bhosle , plays the role of a sincere cop who wants to destroy under world mafia.
Rana Daggubati as Shivnarayan , plays the role of a cop who is a sub-ordinate to Sanjay Dutt.
Naseeruddin Shah
Vijay Raaz plays the role of an escaped mafia don from police custody.
Abhimanyu Singh plays the role of a cruel criminal.
Anjana Sukhani as Bharti
Lakshmi Manchu plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s wife.
Madhu Shalini plays the role of a female gangster.
Ram Gopal Varma’s Hindi movie Department, Rana and Sanjay Dutt play cop roles in the movie. Amitabh Bachchan plays role of gangster who turns politician. Manchu Lakshmi and Anjana sukhani also star in the movie.Mohan Babu’s daughter Lakshmi Prasanna is currently dubbing for her role in Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming Bollywood flick (Department).
She will be seen as Sanjay Dutt’s wife in the film. Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Rana and Madhu Shalini will be seen in main roles in the film. The film is being released in Telugu and Hindi in February next year.
