What a wonderful day in Charles Town WV. Me and my bestie attended the grand opening of @jennifer_l_armentrout new bookstore @miss.willasbookshop
This place is a romantacy nerds dream! ☁️💭
The day didn't go exactly as planned, so many people showed up, and you could tell the staff was not expecting the turnout to be that big, but they handled it in stride, especially in this crazy heat wave. We asked a staff member and she said they had over 1000 people visit the store by 5pm, and they were still going strong. And we even got to meet JLA herself! The store itself is absolutely gorgeous, and has so many options. I absolutely loved seeing other local businesses join in on the fun and provide discounts to people attending the event, it was a great way to pass the time and beat the heat.
I met so many new bookish friends, and had some awesome conversations with like-minded individuals. We are definitely coming back in the fall to check it out again.
