Throwback to an unforgettable moment in Hawaii with the legendary Ram Dass, while I was filming The Reality of Truth.
During our time together, I told him something personal. I believed we might be cousins. My mother’s maiden name is Alpert, just like his, Richard Alpert. Both of our families came through Bangor, Maine on their way to Boston.
Ram Dass smiled and said, “If we’re both Alperts from those areas, we’re definitely cousins.”
I told him I’d trace it back one day. Now feels like the right time to finally do it.
